Supporting the Maintenance Infrastructure team performing skilled manual work.

You will focus on inspection and regulatory work related to single family residential and smaller commercial buildings, as well as ensure compliance with the BC Building code and municipal regulations/bylaws.

In this position, you are responsible for the remote monitoring of municipal infrastructure through the City’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and responding to alarms by classifying requests, conducting system tests, and dispatching emergency crews and equipment as necessary.

As part of the leadership team reporting to the General Manager Engineering and Public Works, you will lead all aspects of Public Works services.
