Volunteering is a chance to give back to the community, feel like part of a solution, have fun, gain work experience, support a cause you feel strongly about, gain new skills and knowledge and feel needed.
There are many volunteering opportunities at the City of Coquitlam. Depending on your interests, you can volunteer your time for one or more Leisure and Parks activities, events or programs. If you're interested in community development, perhaps sitting on a Council Committee is for you. Auxiliary Firefighting and Community policing are other areas where volunteering opportunities exist.
