Pinetree Community Centre
Pinetree Community Centre operates a Fitness Centre which offers a range of activities and programs for preschoolers, children, youths, adults and seniors. It also offers rental space for meetings, conferences and special events.

The Landing Teen Centre
For Youth 13-18 years. Check out The Landing located at the Pinetree Community Centre, 1260 Pinetree Way. The Landing has music, movies, pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and a concession. For more information, call Pinetree Community Centre at 604-927-6960.

There are both drop-in activities and registered programs. Many activities are free or low cost. Detailed and current information can be found in the 50 Plus Newsletter. Membership is available to anyone 50+, resident or non-resident. The annual fee is $15.10 per year, starting in January and expiring on December 31. It is pro-rated 50% after Sept. 1. for new memberships only. Membership is required to participate in registered programs or after two drop-in visits.

Join us for our licensed preschool programs! We have registration spaces available for September 2009 to June 2010 school year in the following:
Poirier Licensed Preschools Tues/Thurs for Children ages 3 to 4 years born in 2006
Cost: $85 per month + $25 Administration Fee
Poirier Licensed Preschools Mon/Wed/Fri for Children ages 4 to 5 years born in 2005
Cost: $100 per month + $25 Administration Fee
Registration must be done in person at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex located at 625 Poirier Street, Coquitlam. Please speak with Lorna or Lacey to register.

The Cellar Teen Centre A place to hang out with your friends after school and on the weekend, located at the Poirier Community Centre. Challenge the Youth Staff to a game of pool or ping pong, use the computer for school work or games, take in a movie or just chill and listen to some music. There are different events every weekend and it is fully supervised - and free! Bring your friends and make new ones. This is the place for you. We are located in the Poirier Community Centre 630 Poirier St.
Winter 2010 Hours of Operation:
Tuesdays - Thursdays: 2:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
Fridays: 2:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturdays/Sundays: CLOSED

Centennial Activity Centre includes a large gymnasium and a multi purpose room with an office that has been built in partnership between the School Board and the City, located at 570 Poirier Street on the East side of Centennial High School on Poirier.
We offer a variety of Drop-in and Registered Programs for all ages ranging from Preschoolers to Seniors. Programs run week days and weekends. Registered Programs run between the hours of 6:30pm - 7:30pm weekdays
Drop Ins are offered between the hours of 8:30pm - 10:30pm. Various Registered programs are offered throughout the weekends between the hours of 9:00am -5:30pm.
ALL DROP INS will start the week of January 4, 2010.

Glen Pine Pavilion officially opened January 13, 2008, and is home to the Glen Pine 50Plus Society. This state-of-the-art community centre offers a vibrant venue for adults and seniors who wish to be more active, meet friends and enjoy good times participating in leisure activities. Participants enjoy joint membership with Dogwood Pavilion allowing members to take advantage of the wonderful amenities at both locations. Come by and check out what Glen Pine Pavilion has to offer.
Facility Features include:
- A fully-equipped Fitness and Weight Room (Alpine Fitness Centre)
- The Great Room and Stage for special events, entertainment, dance classes, carpet-bowling, table tennis, fitness
- The Green Room for life-long learning workshops and seminars, meetings, yoga and pilates
- The Studio for painting lessons, arts and crafts
- The Wood Box for small wood-working projects
- The Corner Pocket for a good game of recreational billiards
- The Lemon Tree Cafe for full week day luncheon service with a diverse and nutritious menu
- The Lemon Tree Room for language classes, karaoke afternoons and taikofit
- The Hub to meet with friends or watch our big screen TV
- The Bistro for a nice cup of coffee, to relax or play table games
The Glen Pine Pavilion is a warm and welcoming place for adults including multicultural members of the community with a variety of programs, groups, support services and activities to choose from. There are also numerous rewarding volunteer opportunities to become involved with. Annual Membership for 2009 is $15.25 starting on January 1 and expiring on December 31. The joint membership is also valid at the Dogwood Pavilion and is prorated 50% after September 1. Anyone aged 50+ is eligible for the joint Pavilion membership. Adults are welcome to participate in evening and Saturday programs.
