Showcase Your Work at Coquitlam Celebrates Canada Day!

The City of Coquitlam is looking for artisans to participate in Coquitlam’s 2010 Canada Day celebration. Building on the success of last year, Coquitlam would like to repeat the artisan showcase; an opportunity for artists to promote and sell their work.
How to get involved
Email or mail your entry information and five photos of the work you plan to sell. Include a brief biography, description of your art and a price list.
Artisans will be responsible for display and sales materials and all sales transactions. Entry fee is $75.00. Artisans will be provided with a designated area to present their work and a 10’ x 10’ pop-up tent. Electricity is available. Participating artisans will also be featured in the event promotion materials.
Please note set up is at 10:00 a.m. and artisans are expected to remain open until 9:00 p.m. You will not be able to bring your vehicle on site until the event is officially over. Event parking for one vehicle will be provided.
Selection based on:
- Competency in chosen media;
- Items likely to sell at an event;
- A balanced and well-rounded selection and;
- Number of available spaces.

Entry Deadline: Tuesday May 18, 2010, 4:00 p.m.
Jury Date: Wednesday May 26, 2010
Notification Date: Friday May 28, 2010
Event Date: Thursday July 1, 2010
Entry Information & Guidelines
Criteria:
- Open to all BC artisans
- Demonstrated competency in medium
- Must be created by the artist
- No imported goods will be considered
- Must be available “for sale” – price point will be considered
What to include:
- Contact information: name, address, phone number & email
- Five JPEG photos of your current work, no larger than 500kb @300dpi (send only 5)
- Description of work
- Brief Biography
- Price List relating to photos
How to Enter:
Entry must be received by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Email information to cosborne@coquitlam.ca or drop off or mail your information including digital photos on a disc to:
