Funding and Grants

The City provides annual grants to non-profit and community-based organizations to help the City fulfill its mission statement and accomplish strategic goals. The City has a Community Capital Fund and Community Grants  to support the community. As well, residents qualify for a Homeowner Grant.

Investing in the enhancement and future of Coquitlam

The Community Capital Fund is designed especially to assist community organizations in their efforts to promote and develop a City where people choose to live, work and play as outlined in the City’s Strategic Plan. The Community Capital Fund focuses on supporting requests that directly benefit Coquitlam residents.

The purpose of this application is to support the efforts of non-profit organizations in building the capacity of its volunteers in order to meet their organizational goals which in turn benefit the community. The fund will support one time operating requests from non-profit organizations for new programs or for festival and special event funding. This fund also supports community initiated projects for construction or renovation of facilities or improvements on City owned land or capital projects requested by non-profit organizations to improve or attain assets.
