Treefest

Treefest 2011 will be held on Saturday, September 17th from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Riverview Hospital Grounds located at 2601 Lougheed Highway.

Bring the entire family to this free annual celebration of trees on the Riverview Hospital Lands. The festival site is located at the Henry Esson Young Building, accessible from Lougheed Highway, and has free on-site parking.

Activities include:

  • Guided tree tours every hour
  • Children's crafts and activities
  • Children's tree walk
  • Community displays
  • Live entertainment
  • Art exhibit
  • Blackberry Tea in Finnie's Garden
  • Heritage building tour
  • Food concession
  • SPARC Radio Museum and Riverview Hospital Historical Museum open for tours
