Program Description:
This is an adult oriented program. Parents and child-care providers play a critical role in developing language and early literacy skills in children beginning at birth. Library workshops will show parents and child-care providers what they can do to give their baby or toddler the important skills he or she needs to become a good reader. Parenting or caregiver groups can book a visit with the workshop facilitator, to be held either at the library or at a designated meeting place.

Workshops are available for parents and caregivers of:
• Babies: 0 – 23 months old
• Toddlers: 2 – 3 years old
• Preschool: 4 – 6 years old
• All ages: newborn – 6 years old
