Program Description:
The purpose of this program is to ensure that families have access to appropriate assessment, service planning, and treatment and support services in order to address any challenges they face and promote the emotional well-being of their children. Services offered include assessment, follow-up, intervention, group therapy and parent training.

English, Cantonese, Mandarin. Other Interpretation Services available at no cost to families.

Client Profile / Eligibility Criteria:
• Children from birth through six years old and their families living in the Tri-Cities Region.
• Children with developmental challenges, who are also experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties

Registration Information:
Referrals to SHARE's ECMH services are made directly to the Team Coordinator / Family Support Worker through the Tri-Cities Children's Services intake worker at 604-529-5132. Check the website, for further information.
An initial intake meeting with the Team Coordinator is typically offered within 21 days from the time of referral.

Start Dates / Duration:
Intake and services are ongoing throughout the year and the level and length of service depends on the individual needs of each child and family.

Program Fee:
Free. There are nominal charges for groups and parent educational programs.

Program Location:
Services may be provided at SHARE’s King Edward site, or the Child and Youth Mental Health Office in Port Moody and in family homes, childcare centres and preschools.
