Coquitlam Celebrates Move for Health Day

COQUITLAM, BC, April 27, 2016 – Move for Health Day is May 10, 2016 and Coquitlam is celebrating from May 9 – 11 with free events to get you moving.

Events include family drop-ins, leisurely walks, adult fitness classes, outdoor yoga, and even a time-management workshop. All events are free, and some require pre-registration.

May 9
Zumba® & Yoga, 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Rocky Point Park  (2800 Block Murray Street, Port Moody)

May 10
Preschool Play Time Drop-in, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Pinetree Community Centre (1260 Pinetree Way)

Guided Walks, 12 – 1:30 p.m. at Dogwood Pavilion (1655 Winslow Avenue) and Glen Pine Pavilion (1200 Glen Pine Court)

Family Drop-in & Adult Fitness Class, 6 – 9 p.m. at Summit Community Centre (1450 Parkway Boulevard)

Boot Camp Drop-in, 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex (633 Poirier Street)

May 11
Flip Your Bucket Workshop, 6 – 8 p.m. at Glen Pine Pavilion (1200 Glen Pine Court)
