Have Your Say on Coquitlam’s 2017 Budget

by Heather Escaravage |

COQUITLAM, BC, Aug. 31, 2016 – Coquitlam residents can have their say on the City’s 2017 budget from the comfort of their home or office through the Citizen Budget online tool.

From September 1 – 30, 2016, residents can visit www.coquitlam.ca/budget and use the online tool to tell the City which services they value the most, and least.

The tool allows users to provide important feedback, while also showing how each City service – and changes to funding those services – directly impacts their property tax bill.

Input received directly informs the City’s 2017 financial planning process.

The Citizen Budget process takes approximately 8 minutes and can be accessed on either a computer or a mobile device. Users can also share their budget on social media to encourage others to participate.

Full information is available at www.coquitlam.ca/budget.
