Experience a Simulated Earthquake

In recognition of Emergency Preparedness Week, May 1-7, the City of Coquitlam is inviting residents and businesses to experience a simulated 8.0 magnitude earthquake and learn more about emergency preparedness. On May 5, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. visit the southwest corner of Coquitlam Centre’s parking lot to experience the IBC Shake Zone – a mobile trailer that shakes and moves, creating the experience of a major earthquake.
