Corporate Partnership Helps Secure Kaleidoscope Musical Lineup

by Michelle Frilund |

COQUITLAM, BC, June 1, 2017 – A partnership with Coast Capital Savings will help bring B.C. jazz, folk, indie and rock acts – including Bif Naked and The Matinée– to Coquitlam’s Kaleidoscope Arts Festival on Aug. 12.

Coast Capital Savings has signed on as the Performance Plaza Partner for the free event, back for a second year at Town Centre Park with live music and dance, arts activities for children and adults, an artisan fair, food trucks and craft beer. Kaleidoscope will run 2 to 10 p.m. and is expected to attract 10,000 people.

Coast Capital, the event’s largest corporate partner to date, will sponsor the event’s main stage, the amphitheatre-style Town Centre Park Plaza overlooking Lafarge Lake, which will feature live music throughout the day.

The lineup features jazz/pop singer-songwriter Jennifer Hayes, indie/roots/folk act West My Friend, indie rockers Derrival, and BreakOut West 2017 nominees for Rock Artist of the Year The Matinée. Renowned rocker and author Bif Naked will headline.

Seven corporate sponsors have stepped forward to support the event, but the top Presenting Partner position is still available. The business that secures this top spot will have its name attached to both the event and musical headliner, and receive extensive promotion before, during and after the event.

In addition to Coast Capital Savings, this year’s partners so far include: Social Media Partner Miss 604, Media Partners Georgia Straight and Lamar Transit Advertising, Major Partner Noura Homes, Photography Partner Shutter Up and Shoot, and Arts Partner Foxridge Homes.

Coquitlam’s Corporate Partners program offers businesses the opportunity to align themselves with signature civic events in exchange for financial and in-kind support that the City uses to offset the cost of services and programs.

Benefits include exposure to a large and diverse audience, a variety of on-site marketing opportunities (e.g. signage, footprints, product giveaways, announcements and promotional booths), and recognition in event marketing, both online and in print.
Event location Town Centre Park is next to Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station, providing easy access for visitors from throughout Metro Vancouver.

Opportunities are available for $1,000 and up. For more information, contact 604-927-3587 or corporatepartners@coquitlam.ca, or visit the Kaleidoscope webpage.
