Kia West Steps Up as Kaleidoscope Presenting Partner

by Robbin Whachell |

COQUITLAM, BC, July 13, 2017 – Kia West has stepped up as presenting partner of one of this summer’s hallmark events: Kaleidoscope Arts Festival on Aug. 12.

Back for a second year, Kaleidoscope will run from 2 to 10 p.m. and bring live music and dance, arts activities, an artisan market, food trucks, craft brew and more to Town Centre Park, located steps away from the SkyTrain.

More than 10,000 people are expected to show up for highlights such as headliner Bif Naked – a renowned B.C. rocker and writer – along with folk-rock favourites The Paperboys and roots rockers The Matinée.

Live acts on two stages will range from Métis dancers and circus performers to jazz and indie rock musicians. Event-goers can also browse handiworks, try out hands-on arts activities, listen to storytellers, and savour craft beer and food truck fare.

Presenting Partner Kia West is the latest corporate sponsor to support Kaleidoscope, which got its start in 2016 as a signature Coquitlam 125 event. As Kaleidoscope’s top sponsor, Kia West will make a significant contribution towards the event costs.

Other sponsors to date include Performance Plaza Partner Coast Capital Savings, Major Partner Noura Homes, Arts Partner Foxridge Homes, and Media Partners THE PEAK 102.7, Miss 604, Georgia Straight, Lamar Transit Advertising, Tri-City News and Shutter Up and Shoot.

Coquitlam’s Corporate Partners program offers businesses the opportunity to align themselves with signature civic events in exchange for financial and in-kind support, which the City uses to offset the cost of services and programs.

Benefits include exposure to a large and diverse audience, a variety of on-site marketing opportunities (e.g. signage, footprints, product giveaways, announcements and promotional booths), and recognition in event marketing, both online and in print.
Opportunities are available for $1,000 and up. For more information, contact 604-927-3587 or corporatepartners@coquitlam.ca.

Event details are posted at www.coquitlam.ca/kaleidoscope.
