Rochester Park Spray Area Temporarily Closed

COQUITLAM, BC, Aug. 31, 2017 – The sand and water play area at Coquitlam’s Rochester Park has been closed until further notice due to a drainage issue.

The City of Coquitlam apologizes for the inconvenience and is determining a solution that will allow the area to be reopened.

In the meantime, residents are encouraged to use any of Coquitlam’s seven other spray parks, which will be in full operation until Sept. 17. These include:

  • Blue Mountain Park, 975 King Albert St.
  • Burns Spray Park, 802 Edgar St.
  • Galloway Spray Park, 3404 Galloway Ave.
  • Mackin Spray Park, 1046 Brunette Ave.
  • Norm Staff Spray Park, 3320 David Ave.
  • Panorama Spray Park, 1455 Johnson St.
  • Town Centre Spray Park, 1299 Pinetree Way
