COQUITLAM, BC, Nov. 16, 2017 – Kick off the festive season with free family fun at Lights at Lafarge on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Kids will delight in this free community event at Evergreen Cultural Centre, 1205 Pinetree Way, featuring arts and crafts, face painting, live music, roving entertainers, a holiday photo booth and photos with Santa Claus.

New this year, get a jump on your Christmas shopping by perusing the Holiday Market for hand-crafted items and locally made treats ranging from jewelry and children’s accessories to kettle corn and special marinades. You’ll also find food trucks on site with coffee and tasty snacks available for purchase.

At 5:20 p.m., join us for the event’s grand finale at the outdoor viewing area facing Lafarge Lake. Get ready to cheer along with the crowd as the Lafarge Lake Winter Lights Display is switched on for the first time this season, illuminating the natural landscape with hundreds of thousands of lights.
