The East Meets West Series highlights the Inspiration Garden’s “Herb Garden” which has an assortment of culinary as well as medicinal plants. Learn about the healing power of these medicinal plants at the following workshops.

Moxa Inner Fire
Moxa, or mugwort, is a powerful herb used in traditional Chinese medicine to strengthen digestion, eliminate coldness in the joints and limbs, and provides added nutrition. Explore the uses and how to grow moxa on Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The workshop is open to adults 18 years and up. | Register Now

Foods That Heal

Learn how to grow and use medicinal herbs in everyday recipes. The workshop includes food and drink samples, plus a selection of herbs to take home. The workshop runs on Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and is open to adults 16 years and up. | Register Now

Tea Time: Exploring Tea as a Medicinal Herb

Learn about the history of tea and how it is used in healing practices. You’ll have the chance to try tea made from leaves grown right in the Inspiration Garden. The workshop runs on Saturday, June 14 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and is open to adults 18 years and up. | Register Now
