RESIDENT UPDATE (2015-02-18 – 7:00 p.m.) - Structure Fire - Glen Drive

Coquitlam Fire / Rescue has completed their investigation and the building has now been turned over to the property managers and their insurance company to begin the restoration process. It is the property manager and the restoration company, not the City or Coquitlam Fire/Rescue, that will determine when it is safe to access suites for personal belongings. For free access to new toiletries, non-perishable food, and new and lightly used clothing, please visit Eagle Ridge United Church (2813 Glen Drive) from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19. If possible, please bring proof of residency at 2915 Glen Drive (ID or Reception Centre paperwork). This service is being led by Kary Movers with the support of the Eagle Ridge United Church and community volunteers. SHARE's Thrift Store (2404 St. Johns Street) also has clothing, food and household items available, as does Bea's Kloset.

Pets

If you're missing a pet, please email the Animal Shelter (animalshelter@coquitlam.ca) with a description/photo and staff will add it to the list of missing animals.

For anyone who has found an animal, try to keep it contained and call the Animal Shelter at 604-927-7386 so an officer can be dispatched to pick it up. You can also bring found animals directly to the Shelter at 500 Mariner Way.
