Cheer on Coquitlam’s 55+ BC Games Participants

COQUITLAM, BC, August 20, 2015 – As 85 Coquitlam athletes head to North Vancouver from August 25 – 29 to compete in the 2015 55+ BC Games, the City invites all residents to cheer on our local competitors.

As the Host City for the 2016 55+ BC Games, the City of Coquitlam will also be onsite at the North Vancouver Games encouraging our local athletes and inviting everyone to join us next year for the 2016 Coquitlam 55+ BC Games. The 55+ BC Games is an annual multi-sport competition organized by the BC Seniors Games Society for BC’s 55+ population to participate in more than 20 individual and team sports.

Athletes and spectators attending the 2015 North Vancouver 55+ BC Games are invited to visit the City of Coquitlam booth for a chance to win a prize package worth over $250 including gift cards to Coquitlam Centre and the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver as well as City of Coquitlam recreation passes and swag.

The City also hopes to encourage adult athletes and volunteers to participate in the Coquitlam 2016 55+ BC Games being held in Coquitlam from September 20 – 24, 2016.
