Have Your Say on Coquitlam’s 2016 Budget

by Kevin Henkelman |

COQUITLAM, BC, August 31, 2015 – Coquitlam residents can have their say on the City’s 2016 budget from the comfort of their home or office through the Citizen Budget online tool.

From September 1 – 30, 2015, residents can visit coquitlam.ca/budget and use the online tool to tell the City which services they value the most, and least.

The tool allows users to provide valuable feedback, while also showing how each City service – and changes to funding those services – directly impacts their property tax bill.

Input received directly informs the City’s 2016 financial planning process.

The Citizen Budget process takes approximately 15 minutes and can be accessed on either a computer or a mobile device. Users can also share their budget on social media to encourage others to participate.

Full information is available at coquitlam.ca/budget.
