by Robbin Whachell |

COQUITLAM, BC, Aug. 23, 2017 – The City of Coquitlam’s park maintenance team will be working in two Coquitlam parks in the coming weeks.

Mundy Park

From approximately Aug. 22 – Sept. 1 the team will be resurfacing Interlaken Trail from the west perimeter trail to the waterline, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Residents can expect intermittent trail closures on this section only, and barricades with signage will be in place.

Coquitlam Crunch

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, the staired section of the Coquitlam Crunch trail, between the two Lansdowne Dr. Crossings will be closed for routine vegetation clearance and general maintenance.   The closure wil be approximately between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Signage notifying users of the closure will be posted along the trail.

Work in both parks is necessary to keep the popular trails clear and safe for users.
