Coquitlam is served by various transit routes including the 97 B-line and West Coast Express commuter rail. In partnership with TransLink, the City promotes convenient, comfortable and efficient public transit service for people of all ages and abilities.

Walking

The City of Coquitlam has developed various ongoing programs to improve the safety and environment for pedestrians.

Cycling

Several cycling routes have been built including Alderson Avenue, Rochester Avenue, Westview-Whiting, Guildford Way, and Chilko Drive.
