The Strategic Transportation Plan (STP) serves as a road map for Coquitlam’s Transportation System. It outlines high level transportation policies and potential improvements for all types of travel for the next 20 years and beyond.
The STP has been recently updated taking into consideration changes in the regional context. This process involved much public consultation over the past 24 months and is now complete. The plan was adopted by Council in February 2012.
STP Summary Report
Five discussion papers were prepared throughout the development of the STP. The Summary Report, above, incorporates and summarizes the findings and directions from each of the Discussion Papers. The Discussion Papers form technical appendices to the STP.

Discussion Paper 2 - Visioning
