Music lovers will enjoy free summer concerts under the evening sky at TD Community Plaza in Town Centre Park.

Choose to either sit on the grassed seating levels or bring your own chair or blanket while enjoying a homemade picnic or meal purchased from an on-site food vendor.

Mark your calendars with these Friday evening concert dates:
July 13, for Jazz Night; Aug. 3​, for Classic Rock Night;
and Sept. 7, for Motown Night. 

All the concerts take place from 7 – 9 p.m. at TD Community Plaza, with free parking off Trevor Wingrove Way, or a short walk from Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain station.

July 13​ – Jazz Night Performers:

Summer Concerts Beauty Shop GirlsBeauty Shop Dolls​: 7 – 7:45 p.m.

Who can resist the allure of three dazzling females singing in tight sunny harmonies? Fresh faced and stylishly retro-chique, Beauty Shop Dolls are a vocal group with a charming, colourful take on the classic stylings of The Andrew Sisters, or The Chordettes. 

From the 1920's jazz standards to 50's and 60's doo-wop, these dolls know how to woo any crowd into an old fashioned love affair. 


Summer Concert Series HummingbirdThe Hummingbird Brigade​: 8:15 – 9 p.m. 

National Jazz Award nominee and LEO award-winning composer/performer James Danderfer leads this exciting large ensemble made up of some of Vancouver's top jazz musicians. 

The Hummingbird Brigade is a 10-piece New Orleans-style brass band that plays soulful New Orleans classics as well as funky jazz material sure to get your ​toes tapping or your hips swaying. We welcome you to get up and dance!
