Evergreen Cultural Centre

The cultural jewel in Coquitlam’s Town Centre, Evergreen Cultural Centre features a studio theatre, rehearsal hall, art studios and a fabulous gallery. Situated on the shores of Lafarge Lake this incredible location is a fantastic setting to experience the arts.

Place des Arts

Place des Arts is an established arts centre and music school in Coquitlam. With a mission to inspire the artist in everyone, Place des Arts offers high quality arts education programs in music, dance, visual arts, theatre arts and creative writing, for all ages and abilities. The centre’s Artisan Shop and galleries support local emerging artists, and its annual program of events and performances make Place des Arts a cultural hub, drawing diverse members of the community together to experience the arts.

Coquitlam Heritage Society

Mackin House Museum is run by the Coquitlam Heritage Society. The Museum features exhibits of life at the turn of the century. Mackin House, located at Heritage Square, was built in 1909 to house members of the growing Fraser Mills Company. The Society features historical programs and events through out the year.

Place Maillardville Community Centre

Place Maillardville Community Centre is located on historic Laval Square. This unique community centre is a neighbourhood rendezvous. While their mandate is to celebrate Maillardville’s French Canadian heritage, all community members are welcome. Place Maillardville Community Centre is also home to Club Bel Ậge.

ArtsConnect is a not-for-profit Arts Council serving Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra. Connecting you to lessons, events and exhibits, community highlights, local festivals, and calls for talent Arts Connect keeps you up to date with our region’s arts and culture.

Art Focus gives you easy access online to the newest art, news and events for a great number of visual artists.

The Evergreen Culture Centre, located in Coquitlam City Centre, houses a 257-seat studio theatre, art gallery, rehearsal studio and several artist studios to showcase its programs and those of the community.

The Red Robinson Show Theatre, located at the United Boulevard Casino in Coquitlam, is host to many A-list comedy, music and theatre acts.

Stage 43 Theatrical Society is an amateur community theatre group that has been producing quality theatrical productions in the tri-cities area for over 28 years. Show’s run throughout the year in Coquitlam.

Theatrix Youtheatre provides children and youth opportunities to learn and perform in stage theatre productions. Show's run throughout the year.

Place des Arts is a non-profit arts centre and music school located in Coquitlam, Place des Arts offers high quality private and group music lessons in a wide variety of instruments for all ages and skill levels. The centre also offers an array of classes in dance, drama, voice, visual art, fibre art, pottery and creative writing for students from preschoolers to adults.

Suite E Life Drawing Group is a non-profit artists’ society holding weekly life drawing sessions with professional models.

The Young Actors Project supports child and youth actor development and education.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio offers private and group lessons, specializing in partner dances such as the Waltz, Fox Trot, Swing, Salsa, Hustle, Argentine Tango, Country Western, Social, and Ballroom dancing.

Coastal Sound Music Academy offers choir and music education for children and adults. CSMA welcomes anyone with the interest, enthusiasm, and desire to sing—no former vocal training is necessary to join.

The Coquitlam Art Club is a group of art enthusiasts, based out of Dogwood Pavilion, for people aged 50 + who enjoy painting and drawing.

The Coquitlam Chorale Society is a 55-voice, informally auditioned, community choir, combining the love of great singing in a friendly rehearsal atmosphere with excellent community service.

les Echos du Pacifique is a French language choir based out of Maillardville. Open to all francophones and Francophile who enjoy singing. The 4 voice (SATB) choir has been promoting French-Canadian culture through singing since 1973.

The Greater Vancouver Woodturners Guild is a volunteer group with a wide range of abilities and interests happy to share their wood turning experiences and assist you in your endeavours. All guests are welcome - no invitation is required.
