Gift Program

The City of Coquitlam Gift Program provides an opportunity for citizens, community groups or businesses to donate amenities to enhance the park or facility user’s experience. Examples include trees, benches, picnic tables, bicycle racks, drinking fountains or special equipment.

Memorial opportunities (trees only) are available at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery or Chilko Memorial Boulevard.

What Can I Expect?

Donors are encouraged to make location suggestions for their gifts which will be reviewed by City staff to ensure the amenity is appropriate for the location requested. 

Due to abundance, we will no longer be accepting gifts of benches at Como Lake Park, Town Centre Park or DeBouville Slough Trail. There are unique opportunities available at The Inspiration Garden at the corner of Guildford Way and Pipeline Road

Most donations in excess of $500.00 will receive a bronze recognition plaque. The donor will provide the information for the text and it will be designed in consultation with staff. Maximum suggested length is 36 characters.

Tax receipts are available for the majority of donations.
