Location & Hours of Operation

We're located in Town Centre Park (site map), north of Guildford Way on Pipeline Road (map). We're open to the public, dawn to dusk.

School Tours

The Inspiration Garden School Tours are a fun and unique way for students to learn about gardening and their natural environment. Through fun activities, hands-on experiences, and interactive learning, students are able to enrich their curriculum outside the classroom. 

School tours are one hour long and are run by City of Coquitlam Park Program Leaders. The registration fee is $20​.00 per class. Requirements for teachers are a maximum of 1 class per session, with 1 class being no more than 30 students. Teachers are also only allowed to sign up for a maximum of 2 sessions each.  Additional parent participation and supervision is also recommended.

Garden School Tours for the Spring/Summer session are now available. Register your school class and attend one of our informative workshops. Workshop topics include: 

  • Wormy Workshop
  • Composting
  • Good Bugs, Bad Bugs
  • Plant Life Cycles
  • Pollinator Power

Community Gardens

The City of Coquitlam oversees two community gardens (map) with plots available to rent on a yearly basis to Coquitlam residents (18 years +). The Coquitlam Community Gardens at the Inspiration Garden features 36 raised plots and the Scott Creek Community Gardens (located just above the Coquitlam Crunch Parking lot off of Lansdowne Drive) features 27 raised plots and 2 wheelchair accessible plots.

At this time, there are no garden plots available; however, if you would like to add your name to the waitlist, please complete and submit the online Garden Plot Request Form.
