Middleschooler! Take Over | 11 – 13 years
Middleschoolers, grades 6 – 8, take over the Landing Youth Centre every Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday nights, 6 – 10 p.m., middle school youth are also welcome to join the fun.

Join your friends for a game of badminton for only a toonie! Arrive early to guarantee a space. Bring your own racquet and birdies. 11 – 18 years | Fee: $2.00 per person

What's Happening

Youth: Cooking  

Learn to prepare, cook and sample a variety of mouth-watering entrées. Nutrition and kitchen safety will also be covered in this hands-on class.  10 – 14 years | Register by selecting one of sessions below.

Pinetree Winter Camp Middleschoolers

This camp follows the interests of the group, and includes a visit to the light display at Town Centre Park and swimming at City Centre Aquatic Complex. A mix of classroom, gym & outdoor adventures. 11 – 14 years | Register Now!

Youth on the Go

An ideal camp for those who love the thrill of adventure, learning new things and having tons of fun. Games, crafts and much more. 11 – 14 years | Register now for each day/session individually.

Leadership & Volunteer Opportunities

Leadership and volunteer opportunities are a great way to meet new people, gain valuable experience, have fun, and get involved in your community. 

 

Youth Council and Youth Program Committees

These are volunteer membership positions for youth in Grades 9 to 12 (14 – 18 years) who are Coquitlam residents or attend school in Coquitlam. They provide opportunities for youth to meet new people, learn more about the community and gain leadership and work experience skills.
