The Northeast Coquitlam Area Plan encourages the orderly development of a community that accommodates a future population of approximately 24,000-30,000 persons on Burke Mountain. A major Neighbourhood Centre is proposed for the Partington Creek area to serve Northeast Coquitlam.

Northeast Coquitlam Neighbourhood Plans


Lower Hyde Creek Neighbourhood Plan

The Lower Hyde Creek Neighbourhood is located along the eastern flank of Hyde Creek, and is bounded by three major roads; to the north by David Avenue, the south by Victoria Drive and the east by Soball Street in Northeast Coquitlam.


Upper Hyde Creek Neighbourhood Plan

The Upper Hyde Creek Neighbourhood is located along the eastern flank of Hyde Creek, and is bounded to the east and south by the two major roads (Coast Meridian Road and David Avenue) in Northeast Coquitlam.


Smiling Creek Neighbourhood Plan

The Smiling Creek Neighbourhood Plan area is located to the east of the Upper Hyde Creek Village Neighbourhood Plan and Lower Hyde Creek Village Neighbourhood Plan areas in Northeast Coquitlam.
