How to Use Zoom

We recommend you watch this short video on joining a ZOOM meeting to get started. 

To join one of the FREE registered fitness programs, you will need:

  • A reliable internet connection (wired or Wi-Fi);
  • A tablet, laptop or desktop computer (smartphones may also be used, but it may be difficult to follow some programs on a small screen); and
  • Speakers, a microphone and webcam (built into most devices/computers)

Please test out Zoom before your program begins. The instructor will be unable to pause the session if you are having technical difficulties.

Seniors may contact Dogwood or Glen Pine Pavilion weekdays for support. 

Virtual Fitness Classes

Stay active at home with free and fee-based program options. Check out the CoquitlamSPIRIT web page for free Fitness at Home resources, including instructional videos for all fitness levels, written workout plans and fitness tips. 

We are also running online ZOOM classes for all activity levels. To register, visit the Registration web page and click Register for Programs. Go to Adult and click on Fitness. On the left side, click Other Locations and expand the dropdowns to see available programs, dates and times.

Don’t have all the necessary equipment? Don’t worry – the instructor will show you how to use ordinary household items as fitness equipment.

  • Latin Dance 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
  • HIIT Boot Camp 6 - 7 p.m. 

Tuesday

  • Pilates 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Fit 360 6 - 7 p.m.

Wednesday

  • HIIT Boot Camp 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Latin Dance 6 - 7 p.m. 

Thursday

  • Hatha Yoga 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Friday

  • Latin Dance 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
