Councillor Bonita Zarrillo

  • Elected in 2013, Bonita is a business analyst with a  background in sales, marketing and consumer research. She has worked  with a number of multi-national companies in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
  • She is married with three children.
  • Bonita moved back West, to Coquitlam in 2010 after spending 15 years working in Eastern Canada and the U.S.
  • Bonita sat on the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee for the City of Coquitlam in 2012 as a member at large.
  • Bonita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Manitoba, a Computer Science Degree from CDI Montreal, and holds a Professional Management Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Calgary.

    • Vice Chair of the Multiculturalism Advisory Committee
    • Member of the Metro Vancouver Indigenous Relations Committee
    • Council Representative to the Fraser Health Municipal Government Advisory Council
