COQUITLAM, B.C., Feb. 16, 2021 – The City of Coquitlam has been named a Top Employer in B.C. for the fourth year in a row.
In the annual competition led by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, the awards recognize B.C. employers offering exceptional places to work. Coquitlam and the other 2021 winners are featured in a special supplement of the Vancouver Sun on Feb. 16.

About the B.C.’s Top Employers Competition
Applicants in the B.C.’s Top Employers competition were evaluated on nine criteria: physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
Organizations were compared to others across the province to determine which offered the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. Coquitlam was one of only three Metro Vancouver municipalities to have been awarded this distinction for 2021.
