COQUITLAM, B.C., April 1, 2021 – Coquitlam recreation facilities continue to provide a variety of safe pre-registered drop-in recreation options.
- Swimming – length, individual and family swimming; swimming lessons for all ages; and aquafit which will start on April 6.
- Skating – public, adult and child, youth and 50+ skating; and skating lesson for all ages.
- Indoor Court Sports – badminton and pickleball, max. two people per court.
- Fitness – personal training, weight room and fitness centres, outdoor and virtual fitness classes (Cycle, Fit 360, HIIT Bootcamp, Low Impact and Yoga).
Register online 24/7 at www.coquitlam.ca/registration. Phone-in registration is available at 604-927-4386 weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for statutory holidays) and weekends 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
April registered programming for children, youth and virtual programs for adults are also available.
Safety Remains the Priority
All activities – whether held indoors, outside or virtually – continue to adhere to current Provincial Health Officer orders, with modified access and protocols in place to ensure the safety of the public and staff. As in the case with the March 29 public health order, Coquitlam Recreation remains ready to scale back or adjust programs at all times in the interest of public safety.
