Fresh Produce Delivery

Supporting Child & Youth Programs

Under the City’s Corporate Partners program, Oppy, a Coquitlam-based company supporting food production and distribution throughout North America, has been providing a variety of seasonal fresh produce each week at Pinetree and Poirier Community Centres. The foods have been used in Coquitlam youth centres, as well as cooking programs and learning sessions about food, and is available as snacks at drop-in sessions.

Because of this unique partnership, Coquitlam youth programs have received fresh food at no cost, allowing the City to offer low- or no-cost, inclusive youth programs focused on heathy food. Thanks for your support Oppy!

Winter is Just Around the Corner

Be Aware, Get Prepared

As recent events have shown, winter in the Lower Mainland can mean all kinds of weather, including snow and ice or wind and rain that can cause flooding and power failures. While City crews are out in full force 24/7 during these events, we also look to our residents to be prepared for the winter season before we have severe weather impacts.

Click the link below for information on seasonal parking restrictions on your street, tips on how you and your family can plan ahead, a description of our snow-clearing priorities and details on what you are responsible for, as well as access to our Snow Response Request Tool that allows you to report a hazardous road or sidewalk condition.
