A Great Way for Seniors to Stay Connected Safely

Stay connected, socialize, spark new friendships and learn about what’s happening in the community. We’re launching a new program with the goal of connecting seniors with volunteers through a weekly phone call. All volunteers are screened and carefully matched by City staff.

If you are a senior living alone or know a senior who would love to chat, please email pavilions@coquitlam.ca or call 604-927-6098.

Celebrating Our Volunteers

Volunteer Week 2021

While many things have been different this past year, one thing that hasn’t changed is the positive impact volunteers have on our community. This week, we’ve been celebrating our dedicated volunteers – and all those who serve the community – on social media as part of National Volunteer Week April 18 to 24.

Follow us on Facebook and join us in applauding the people whose commitment and hard work make Coquitlam a better and safer place to live, learn, work and play.
