Spotlight on Sport

Leadership and Sports Camps for Girls


Do you want to try new sports and gain leadership skills? Join us to learn and play a variety of sports and gain leadership skills while enhancing your skill set and building your resume.

Sign up for Spotlight on Sport: Leadership and Sport Camps for girls ages 14 to 18, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Centre Park throughout the summer. Sports include soccer, softball and volleyball.

Busy Bees – All Ages Activity  

Inspiration Garden

 
Walk through the Inspiration Garden and learn about the busy bees and the important role they play in the success of the plants, while admiring the flowers and looking for other insects.
 
Two pre-registered dates are available: Wednesday, June 23 or 30, 10 to 11 a.m. This is an all-ages activity and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

NEW Town Centre Park Concession

Yummy Eats all Summer Long


Beat the heat this summer – enjoy snacks and treats from Rocky Point Ice Cream at Town Centre Park’s new concession beginning in July. Located in the upgraded festival hub near the TD Community Plaza, the new concession will complement existing park food offerings at the stadium concession.
 
The new building borders a new plaza with umbrellas, lighting and outdoor furniture for dining and lounging, with views of Lafarge Lake.

Good news – the pool at Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex is reopening on June 28. Pre-registration is required and available 48-hours in advance.

The fitness centre reopened on June 7 and is available for pre-registered drop-in.
