Mark July 1 in Coquitlam

Reflect on Canada’s Past, Present and Future

This year’s adapted Canada Day activities will include online content offering cultural sharing, entertainment, activities and more; an in-person drive-through experience for registered participants; and resources and information to further the community’s learning about Canada’s Indigenous cultures and history.

This Canada Day, we're encouraging everyone to reflect on the country’s complicated colonial history with Indigenous communities and consider our nation’s strengths and its flaws, as we strive collectively to learn from our past and do better in the future.

Educational resources for individuals and families are posted at coquitlam.ca/canadaday.
