Reminder: September and October Recreation Programs

Registration Begins Wednesday, July 28


We're planning for increased class sizes and more variety in our fall registered programming as we prepare to move into Step 4 of the BC Restart Plan in September.


Important Information

  • Monday, July 26 – Programs are visible online at 8:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, July 28 – Online registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 29 – Phone-in registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Online registration is available 24/7 at coquitlam.ca/registration. Phone-in registration is available at 604-927-4386, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for statutory holidays) and weekends 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Indoor and Virtual Fitness Continues

More Fitness Choices


As we move into the fall, we still have some virtual fitness programs – Latin Dance Workout, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Bootcamp, Low-impact and Pilates – plus we have a variety of in-person programs for a range of abilities and interests including Barre, Chair Yoga, Learn to Ride, T.I.M.E. and Yoga.

Kids’ ‘Try-it’ Programs

Everything from Art to Sports


Children ages five to 11 have a host of opportunities to ‘try-it’: Adventures in Art, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, Creative Dance and more. These one session classes give kids the chance to do something different, have fun and discover a new interest.

We’re very excited to be offering a couple of in-person group hikes in the fall: Backcountry Navigation and Beginner Hike: Mundy Park and Riverview Forest.

In addition to the in-person group hikes, we will continue offering a number of virtual programs including some new additions: Pinecone Burke Provincial Park and Where to Backpack and Wilderness Camp.

Join the YOUth Sports League

It's Finally Here


Have you ever wanted to play volleyball, basketball, or badminton in a fun, all-levels league? Pinetree Community Centre’s first, all-levels-welcome youth leagues will start in September and we want YOU to join!

Participants spend the first week getting to know their teammates, and then the fun competition begins. Sign up – all levels and abilities encouraged!

Reminder: One Set at a Time

Skating and Swimming Lessons


Skating and swimming lessons are available for all ages but remember, only register for one set of lessons at a time. You may register for the next set of lessons on the last day of the current set.
 
Please note, you will be withdrawn from the later programs if you are registered in more than one set of lessons at a time.
