Reminder: November and December Recreation Programs

Important Information

  • Monday, Sept. 20 – Programs are visible online.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 22 – Online registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 23 – Phone-in registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Online registration is available 24/7 at coquitlam.ca/registration. Phone-in registration is available at 604-927-4386, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for statutory holidays) and weekends 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Winter Break Camps

Get ready campers! Indoor winter break camps are available for children ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 11. Join us for fun games, activities, crafts and so much more. Campers will be divided into specific age groups of 10 on the first day to ensure small group sizes.

Programming for Kids


Look no further for indoor crafts and activities this fall. Check out Craft and Creations programs for children ages 5 to 7. Crayons, glitter and paint will encourage your child to get the creativity flowing.

Group Fitness Classes Available

Registered and Drop-In Options


More group fitness programs are set to take place in November and December, and registered programs including Barre, Bootcamp 4 U & Baby, Chair Yoga and Learn 2 Ride will be available for registration next week.
 
Drop-in group fitness classes, including Yoga, Body Basics, Iron & HIIT and POUND®, will continue as regular drop-ins and Cycle Group Ride will remain the only pre-registered drop-in.

Adult (22 years and older) sports, exercise, fitness and dance activities require proof of vaccination.

Sports Just for YOUth


Is your youth looking to try something new? Check out Fencing – a great cardiovascular workout that develops concentration, mental focus and physical stamina. Programs take place at Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex and Pinetree Community Centre.

If you’re looking for a low-cost option, check out our new Youth Hockey 101 program. All hockey equipment is loaned for free for the duration of the program, reducing the burden of purchasing expensive hockey gear. Only $40 for five sessions.

Games, Sports, Arts and Crafts


Activity groups are back at both Dogwood and Glen Pine Pavilion. Check out one of the many activity options, including the Glen Pine Singers, Bridge, Group Fitness and a variety of Support Services. 

Adult (22 years and older) sports, exercise, fitness and dance activities require proof of vaccination.

Reminder: One Set at a Time

Skating and Swimming Lessons


Skating and swimming lessons are available for all ages but remember, only register for one set of lessons at a time. You may register for the next set of lessons on the last day of the current set.
 
Please note, you will be withdrawn from the later programs if you are registered in more than one set of lessons at a time.
