CCAC Now Open

Annual Maintenance Complete

Good news – swimmers are welcome to take a dip at City Centre Aquatic Complex (CCAC) after its annual maintenance shutdown. Staff have been busy completing important maintenance and deep cleaning at CCAC while construction has continued on the major expansion that began in February.

Construction work on the CCAC expansion is now in its final stretch. The official re-opening date will be announced in the next few weeks. With the reopening of the expanded fitness space at CCAC, the temporary fitness centre at the Innovation Centre will close.

In conjunction with the CCAC reopening, Eagle Ridge Pool and Spani Pool are now closed for the season.

Help Keep Streams and Streets Safe

Adopt a Catch Basin

Do your part by helping to protect local streams and your neighbourhood by adopting a catch basin! This program is a “grate” way to help protect the environment and the safety of local streets and neighbourhoods.

Volunteers have two main roles:

  • Check on the adopted catch basin regularly and keep it clear of leaves, debris and snow; and

  • Report cleaning activity, damage, signs of chemical dumping or other issues to the City.
