Cycling BC Mountain Bike Camp (9 – 12 yrs)

Coquitlam Grant Opportunities for Local Non-Profits

Applications Open Starting March 14


Coquitlam has two grant opportunities available to support non-profit organizations in the community—the Spirit of Coquitlam Grant and the Revenue Recovery Grant. The Spirit of Coquitlam Grant has been relaunched with new funding streams to better capture the needs of the community. The Revenue Recovery Grant is a new opportunity for organizations whose revenue has been directly impacted by COVID-19.

Looking for things to do outside and ways to stay active and have fun? Join the Park Spark team as we pop up at local parks in Coquitlam. 

  • Tuesday, March 15, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Mundy Park
  • Saturday, March 19, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Burke Mountain Pioneer Park
  • Tuesday, March 22, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Blue Mountain Park

Metro Vancouver’s Draft Regional Parks Plan

Open to Public Engagement

 
Metro Vancouver is updating the 2016 Regional Parks Plan and would like your input. The Regional Parks Plan guides Metro Vancouver’s work to protect natural areas and to provide opportunities for people to connect with nature.
 
The draft plan is ready for review and Metro Vancouver wants to hear from you. Click the link below to learn more and read the draft plan.
 
Here are some ways to provide input:

  • Complete a Feedback Form until Wednesday, April 20.

  • Youth (grade 9 – 12) can meet regional planners online and provide input on the plan. Register for timeslots on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 from 10 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
