After School Bike Camp 

For Kids 7 – 9 Years Old

 
Looking for an after school program that gets the kids outside and active? Cycling BC's mountain biking program runs Friday afternoons, starting April 1.

Kids will spend the afternoons building confidence and mastering new bikes skills, both on the grass and on beginner trails. Some pre-requisites and bike skills required to participate.

Do you have an idea for a low-cost project that will help make Coquitlam safer, stronger or more connected?

Applications for Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) between $50 and $500 will be accepted from March 18 to April 29 through a continuing partnership between the City of Coquitlam, Coquitlam Foundation and Vancouver Foundation.

Grants will support projects in Coquitlam that bring people together, tackle social isolation and build a stronger community. Click the link below to learn more.

In preparation for the opening of the new Place Maillardville Community Centre this fall, the City wants to hear from the community about what types of activities and programs you want to see offered.
 
Ways to provide input on future programs:

  • Complete a short survey about programming interests
  • Share ideas about what you’d like to see in the facility

Create a floral spring wreath, using a mixture of felt scenery shapes, yarn, ribbons and intricate details on Saturday, March 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Glen Pine Pavilion. The design is completely customizable to the crafter’s imagination! All supplies are included—no previous arts and crafts experience required.

Battle Archery and Bubble Ball

 
Take aim, develop your archery skills and have fun shooting with foam tipped arrows. Check out Battle Archery—think dodgeball meets archery. This action-packed activity develops hand-eye coordination, teamwork, communication skills and physical fitness.
 
Archery not your thing? Get active and have fun playing Bubble Ball. Suitable for all levels, we’ll play games like soccer, British bulldog and red rover inside a giant, inflatable bubble. Run, bump and roll into your friends.
