Outdoor Recreation Programs for All Ages

Even with the rain, it's a great time of year to get outside and make use of our local trails. Coquitlam is proud to offer outdoor recreation programs for all ages to explore the outdoors, learn about the natural environment and learn how to do it all safely.

Browse our online registration system for upcoming guided hikes, backcountry navigation courses, kid’s mountain biking programs, and programs for preschoolers. The best way to find outdoor programs for all ages is to keyword search "Outdoor" or browse through the different age categories.

Program Support Request Form

We’re Here to Help

Is your child feeling nervous about participating in a camp or recreation program? Contact the Community Services staff to create a support plan. We strive to provide accessible recreation opportunities for children and youth.

A recreation support plan can support your child’s experience by:

  • Providing key information to program leaders on how best to support your child’s unique needs
  • Identifying strategies to help your child stay engaged and having fun
  • Having resources such as visual cards and noise cancelling headphones available
  • Ensuring program spaces meet accessibility requirements

Click the link below to learn more and submit the application. After reviewing the form, a Community Services Coordinator will be in contact with you to discuss your child’s recreation support plan.
