Coquitlam Seeks Input for Economic Development Strategy


Coquitlam is developing an Economic Development Strategy (EDS) and is seeking input to inform the vision for a local economy that works for everyone. Provide feedback through our online survey until June 15 for a chance to win a $50 gift card to a local restaurant.

Call for Tech-based Environmental Innovations 

Coquitlam is looking to partner with innovative problem-solvers to develop novel technology-based solutions to local environmental challenges. This open call comes through Coquitlam’s membership in Project Greenlight, a local procurement platform that teams up public and private enterprises with tech companies in order to accelerate local innovations. Submissions will be accepted until July 31.

B.C. Employer Training Grant


The B.C. Employer Training Grant (ETG) supports skills training to address provincial labour market needs. The goal of the grant is to help residents access the skills training needed to adapt to the changing requirements of jobs and the labour market while encouraging employer involvement in the training of their employees.

Grow Your Small Business Online 


The Government of Canada and Small Business BC have partnered with Digital Main Street to deliver the Grow Your Business Online grant to small businesses. Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with costs related to adopting e-commerce solutions.
