CCAC Annual Maintenance Closure

Sept. 6 – Oct. 9

 
Heads up! The fitness centre and pool at City Centre Aquatic Complex (1210 Pinetree Way) will be closing for annual maintenance soon. The fitness centre will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 6 to Monday, Sept. 12, reopening on Tuesday, Sept. 13; and the pool will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Oct. 9, reopening on Monday, Oct. 10. Please note, Oct. 10 is a holiday and will have different hours (8 – 10 a.m. for women-only time; 10:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.). Regular hours will resume Tuesday, Oct. 11.

We’re accepting applications until Oct. 3 for the Spirit of Coquitlam Grant program, which supports registered non-profit organizations serving Coquitlam residents. Click the link below for details about the grant and application process.

Summer Concert Series

 
We rocked out on July 15, we swung the evening away on Aug. 5, and now we’re looking forward to bopping to the beat at Pop Night. Musical guests Ashley Pater and Queer As Funk will be lighting up the TD Community Plaza Stage for the Summer Concert Series tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m., with the support of presenting partner Coquitlam Centre.

Make a Difference in Coquitlam

Coquitlam Youth Council

 
Do you want to have your voice heard and make a difference in Coquitlam? Join the Coquitlam Youth Council! Members provide feedback, ideas and suggestions on City-wide initiatives, programs and issues facing youth in Coquitlam.

This opportunity is open to Coquitlam residents in Grades 10 to 12. The Youth Council meets every second Wednesday from mid-September to June from 4 to 5 p.m. Also join us for a Youth Retreat on Friday, Sept. 23 (Pro-D Day).

Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy the tunes of the Dusty Boots Band on Friday, Sept. 23 from 5:45 to 9:30 p.m. at Glen Pine Pavilion. They combine country music and classic rock with riffs that are sure to get you on your feet. Come hungry – ribs, cornbread, corn on the cob and coleslaw are on the menu.
