We’re ramping up recruitment for volunteer Snow Angels, neighbours who can lend a helping hand this winter by assisting those who are unable to clear their City sidewalks.

Curious what it’s like to volunteer as a Snow Angel? We’ve reached out to past volunteers to see what their experience was like, and Robert’s story is posted here. To learn more about the Snow Angels program and to sign up to be a volunteer, click the link below.

Learn to Camp Partnership—a Success!

Outdoor Recreation

We partnered with Parks Canada and MEC earlier this summer to provide local families with the opportunity to spend a night camping. 45 participants joined us at Blue Mountain Park, including many who had never camped before. Due to the success of the partnership, we hope to offer this opportunity again next summer.
