New Community Centre

Coming to Town Centre Park

Good news! Coquitlam Council has approved the final design and budget to change the Innovation Centre into a new community centre in Town Centre Park. The renovation project, which is much more cost-effective than building a brand new facility, will start in April 2023 and take about a year.

The building will re-open as the Town Centre Park Community Centre – an inclusive and accessible space for discovery, participation and celebration with panoramic views of the park's floral landscapes and Lafarge Lake. The new community centre will offer a variety of programming and spaces to help relieve pressure on other nearby facilities.
