Keep Pollutants Out of Our Streams

Like residents, business owners in Coquitlam strive to keep our community healthy and beautiful. Collectively, we can keep our community a leader in stream and waterway protections by ensuring pollutants are not released into our water system. To ensure you're doing your part, install and properly maintain grease traps on your premises. Grease traps should be adequately sized, regularly maintained and the captured grease should be disposed in accordance to the regional Sewer Use Bylaw.
