National AccessAbility Week
May 28 to June 3
Coquitlam will be hosting over 30 free activities in support of National AccessAbility Week May 28 to June 3.
Save the date for Coquitlam’s first annual AccessAbility Resources Fair on June 1 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Maillardville Community Centre (1200 Cartier Ave.). Learn about programs and services that are helping everyone thrive in our community from local groups and support agencies, the City’s Equity Diversity and Inclusion program and the Universal AccessAbility Advisory Committee.
Other activities taking place throughout the week include Wheelchair Lacrosse Try-it, Zumba Sentao®, Pickleball for Newcomers (instructed in Farsi), Tours of Dogwood Pavilion (offered in Mandarin, Spanish and American Sign Language) and more.
