Important Update for Applicants

Following the direction received by the Federal and Provincial Health Authorities, the City is taking appropriate measures to ensure our employees and community are safe. This includes our future applicants who have applied for positions with the City. Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of community programs and services as well as the closure of City facilities to members of the public, we must delay all our current recruitment processes. The duration of this delay is unknown.

We commit to keeping you informed on developments pertaining to our recruitment activities. For any candidate that has received an offer of employment and scheduled to start work but has not yet started, please email us at hradmin@coquitlam.ca for further instruction as your start date may also be delayed. Due to the volume of inquiries, it may take us a few days to respond however your patience is appreciated.

New Careers Portal

Effective Monday, Mar. 30, the City of Coquitlam will be launching a new careers portal with improved features to make it easier to apply to jobs with the City! Once the new portal launches, you will be required to create a new profile using your email address, and you must select a new password. You will also need to re-upload your resume the first time you apply for a job using the new portal.

Please note, your current login information will no longer be active as of Friday, Mar. 27. Any recent job applications are accounted for and will remain in progress, and applicants selected to move forward will be contacted as normal.

The City of Coquitlam is the sixth largest city in BC, home to more than 150,000 residents.  Our municipality continues to grow through innovative urban design, inspiring arts, culture and recreation programs, and state-of-the-art transportation systems.  Our brand is built on managing our resources in a responsible and sustainable manner, while supporting a vibrant, growing regional urban centre.
