Advisory Committee Volunteering

Volunteer on a Committee

The application deadline for the 2019 Advisory Committee and Board volunteers was Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 5 p.m. Applications submitted after that date will not be considered at this time.

The City recruits volunteers to fill positions on Coquitlam’s advisory and statutory committees and boards on an annual basis (typically in the fall) or when a vacancy arises. The City advertises vacancies on the City's website and social media channels, as well as in the local newspaper and in civic facilities.

Advisory Committee and Board appointments are made by City Council and, typically, appointments are announced in December of each year. You can find additional information regarding Coquitlam’s Advisory Board and Committees at coquitlam.ca/committees.
